Pine Valley Packaging has designed the asparagus box as a waterproof packaging for shipping delicate vegetables. These special purpose boxes are available in 11 lbs and 28 lbs sizes.
Design features:
- Waterproof - packed and stacked vegetables can be water sprayed without damaging boxes
- Locking tabs for stacking to assure stable loads
- Custom imprinting and branding options
- Environmentally friendly - manufactured from recyclable polypropylene
Controlled tests were performed on both the 11 lb and 28 lb asparagus boxes using static load applications over a 72 hour time period resulting in little or no side wall deflection on either of the empty containers.
